suppose that accumulation is governed by compound interest and the annual effective rate of interest in the k-th year is .02 + .01k. Find a angle 5 and s angle 5. Find T so that (s angle 5)/(a angle 5) = a(T)
I am stuck on how to start.
My thought is that my accumulation function will be a(t)= (1+ (.02 +.01k))^k bc it says it is compound and that i= .02 + .01k. But I am not sure if that is correct.
If that is correct can I just do the standard a angle and s angle calculations.
