Task: create and maintain a weekly reading response journal

Instructions: choose one text that interests you. It may be a newspaper article, journal article, magazine article, a section or chapter of an academic book etc.

Read the article. Include the following in your journal response

1. The name of the article
2. The name of the writer
3. A short summary of the reading .the summary may be either in note from or a brief paragraph.

Here are a few questions to ask yourself. Include reposes to at least two questions for each article(answer at least two question:)

1. Was it well or poorly written? why?

2. What effect did the reading have on you?

3. What was the writers intention (to inform, amuse, reflect, give and opinion etc.)? do you think he/she was successful?

4. What did you learn from it?

5. What did you finding interesting or surprising
