As such, the role of the OHS Professional is to help the employer, prime contractor, and worker to recognize when there is a legal OHS requirement related to their work, and then provide guidance and advice as to how to best meet those requirements. Having now been through some of the Parts of the OHS Code in detail, you should recognize the level of detail that is contained within, and the types of areas that are legislated in the Parts of the Code. Being the health and safety generalist when you get into the field, it will be your responsibility to recognize when legal implications apply, and what they are.
