The criminal justice process is complex and very complicated and highly educated people struggle to understand the process from Arrest to Prison. In this journal assignment I want you to consider the Rule of Criminal Procedure that outlines how the criminal process should take place from arrest to prison. Before answering this question make sure you have looked at the weeks image to really understand how the process flows from a visual perspective. QUESTION: Pretend you walk into a criminal court house and you see this image hanging on the wall. While your looking at it, a little kid comes up to you and ask you to explain what the image says and what it means. In this journal I want you to explain what this image means from left to right focusing on the parts that you think are the most important. Remember you are taking to a little child therefore simplify your answer in a way that the child will understand. The idea is if you can explain this complicated process to a child, means you really understand the image and the overall criminal justice process. WhatI DO NOT WANT- Do not copy and paste each little section and make it a sentence. Instead, I want you to select the most important steps throughout the process and explain it in detail so a 5th grader can understand what it means. Use examples that are clear and meaningful to help people really understand what it means. I also don't want to you address the juvenile process. Focus on the adult process. Your answer should be at least a couple paragraphs to really dive deep into the meaning of the steps of the overall process. Organize your written in a fashion that is easy to read and clearly communicates the assignment goal.
