A ordinary shares Ksh 20 400,000 70,000 ordinary shares Ksh 20 1,400,000 20,000 30% preference shares Ksh 20 400,000 

Reserve 4,800,000 

Additional information Reserve is composed of the following. 

Retained earnings brought forward 2,800,000. 

Retained earnings for the year 2,000,000. 4,800,000 

No preference or ordinary share dividend has been paid. 30% preference shares are non-cumulative. 20% dividend per share was declared. 

Class A ordinary shares are not ranking for dividend until 2022.
