The Marvin Corporation manufactures electrical equipment from specifications received from customers. Job 915 was for 1,000 motors to be used in a specially designed electrical complex. The following costs were determined for each motor:

Labor 200
Factory Overhead 165
It was discovered at final inspection that 40 motors did not meet the specifications established by the customer. An examination dedicated that 15 motors were beyond repair and should be sold as seconds for P120 each and the remaining 25 moors, although defective could be reconditioned as first quality units by addition of P2,300 for materials, P2,100 for labor and P1,700 for factory overhead.
