The next 4 questions relate to this information: A randomized controlled trial enrolls 400 participants with moderate depression into an eight week trial to assess change in depression rating from start to end of treatment. 200 participants are assigned to the treatment of a standard antidepressant plus a one-hour yoga session twice weekly, and the other 200 are assigned to a control group that receives a phone call once weekly consisting of a 10 minute recorded message on general health care tips. During the study 50 participants in the treatment group and 100 participants in the placebo group drop out of the study before completing the 8 week trial.
