The project team is planning an upgrade to the organization accounting reporting system. It has been determined that due to the many locations the organization has, a cloud based system accessed through a web browser will be more convenient for everyone. During Planning, the team has to decide whether to purchase the more robust data lines the system requires via a short term solution, and then have ongoing operations negotiate a long term deal for the data lines, or to initiate a long term agreement on the data lines as part of the project.
