Currently, it is rare that an individual would physically come and approach someone to make friends, especially people in their late teens and adults. Fresh faces from all over the world come through Canada's schools and workplaces, these fresh faces are our target market for the app. As you know, Canada is one of the most popular countries for international students and workers. CONNECT looks to use this growing number of new immigrants and connecting them to a local community orjust other people like them. Our app will be a combination of Discord, Meetup and Bumble. Our goal for the UX/Ul for our app is to be as simple and understandable as possible. When people want to do something like their hobby or simply share their common interests together, CONNECT works in a way that it offers people to join interest groups so you can meet new interesting individuals. The app can help individuals nd others with a common interest or hobby like mountain biking, eating out, volleyball and so on. You can nd groups of people with a common interest and join their scheduled events, or you could be the one that makes plans yourself to go to events, movies, parties, and so on. Connect is different from Tinder, which is best known as a dating app. as our audience will be targeted on nding a friend or community instead of a romantic partner. Tinder treats the choosing of partners almost as a game. The initial approvalldisapproval (left swipelright swipe) model and the anticipation of waiting for a response is a huge selling point of Tinder and other social network applications. Our main selling point is eliminating that initial \"hi" and instead implementing an interactive game to break the ice between the pair or the group of people. So, once the users have downloaded the app and lled in the required data, they are then able to choose the interest group{s) they wish tojoin. It can also help break the ice with interactive activities like small scenario games with the goal to make the other person laugh. Our app will have a monthly subscription of $3.99 for the average user. There is a special discount for students paying only $1.99. To get the discount, students must prove that they are enrolled by sending a picture of their student ID. This will minimize the risk of provocateurs and it can also create the image that the users are getting a premium experience. We also have a 7- day trial for our app to allow users to ensure it is the right option for them before making a purchase
