This project charter will formally authorize a project for the civil engineering highway design department of the Roads r Us Company, a fictitious pavements construction company, to start work on a $1,500,000 upgrade (e.g., repair and/or repaving of asphalt pavement, widening of the roadway on two bridge crossings, and installation of a 30-car commuter parking lot) associated with a 2.5-mile length of an existing 2-lane highway located in suburban New York State.
