This project is designed to give you an opportunity to select an online learning module of your choice, complete the module as a learner, and then analyze the instructors use of adult learning approaches we will define in the early weeks of the semester. You may select any topic you like, as long as it is not a current academic course. Examples might include how to play a musical instrument of your choice, how to knit or quilt, etc. It is intended to engage you in learning something new, and then analyzing the instruction, so I recommend that you select something you are genuinely interested in.

In your report, you should make appropriate brief reference to the content topic of the learning, but focus your analysis on the teaching methods used by the instructor: Andragogy vs. Pedagogy, Active vs. Passive approaches, Self-directed vs. Externally-directed learning, engagement of various Learning Styles, etc. Your paper should be 750 - 1000 words in length. It should describe the methodology used by the presenter in the learning video. Identify the various Adult Learning theories and approaches we will have covered by mid-semester, and whether they were used effectively or not. What worked well, and what could be improved.
