Angus Browne recently commenced his own Maths Coaching Academy providing mathematics tutoring to high school students. The following transactions occurred during the first month of operations in February 2022.

February 2 Angus contributed $10,000 cash to the start the business.

February 8 The business paid $1,500 to rent premises for the month of February 2022.

February 13 Angus provided math tutoring to his first client, Billy Hughes earning $500 in tutoring fees. Billy paid $300 in cash and Angus agreed that the remainder would be paid next month.

February 19 The business purchased office supplies on account for $750.

February 28 Angus withdrew $2,000 from the business bank account to purchase a new printer to use at home.

Required:

Prepare the general journal entries to record the above transactions for the month of February 2022. Narrations ARE required. (8 marks)

Part b)

Post the transactions that occurred on February 8th and 28th to the appropriate general ledger T-accounts. Include the account name at the top of each T-account. (5 marks)
