I wrote below but I am stuck 

Obesity 

Obesity in the United States has risen quickly over the years, causing a financial burden on the United States healthcare system (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, 2022). In 2013, the American Medical Association officially classified obesity as a disease (American Medical Association, n.d.). Described as having a body mass index (BMI) greater than 30, obesity can result from genetics, social determinants of health, side effects of medications, lack of physical activities, and other unhealthy lifestyle choices (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, 2022). Obesity can lead to chronic illnesses such as heart disease, stroke, and diabetes, the leading cause of death in Palm Beach County. The correct way to overcome obesity is through diet and exercise; however, drastic interventions are occasionally needed, such as bariatric surgery, to help reduce the risk of chronic conditions that will lead to increased healthcare spending. 

Boca Raton Regional Hospital

Boca Raton Regional Hospital (BRRH) is a 400-bed not-for-profit hospital known for its specialty in Orthopedic, Oncology, Neurology, and Cardiology services that it provides to the residents in the community. BRRH is committed to offering high-quality, patient-centered care and enhancing residents' health while minimizing costs. With the continuous implementation of wellness programs and partnerships to help bring awareness of healthy living, BRRH promotes the importance of maintaining a physically active life. Based on BRRH 2021 Community Assessment data, 52.9% of the adults in Palm Beach county were overweight or obese compared to the rest of Florida, which is 63%. BRRH does not have a Weight Loss Center that provides Bariatric surgery to help provide proper intervention. This center will help establish access to care and improve health for bariatric patients.

Boca Raton Regional Hospital Bariatric & Weight Loss Center 

In Boca Raton, Florida, there are no hospitals that offer bariatric surgeries. The nearest hospital that provides these services are 18 miles away. This will give BRRH an opportunity to offer bariatric surgeries to residents who meet the criteria. Bariatric surgery has been the most effective in treating morbid obesity and has achieved better outcomes (Goretti et al., 2020). These surgeries will consist of alterations made to the digestive system through procedures such as gastric banding, gastric sleeves, gastric bypass, and revisional bariatric surgery and offer monthly support groups for after-weight loss surgery. Bariatric surgery has been found to reduce obesity and minimizes the risk of obesity related to cancer (Yip et al., 2022, p.1). Bariatric surgery still has a negative perception as patients who have had surgery are lazy; however, it requires motivation and support, which BRRH interdisciplinary team will provide.

Benefits

Bariatric surgery is the most effective and underutilized intervention method in treating obesity (Varban et.al, 2019, p552). Patients who are obese are usually hospitalized longer due to the underlying conditions of diabetes, hypertension and have other comorbidities such as sleep apnea, and liver disease. These patients tend to have longer length of stay and will more costly. BRRH Bariatric Unit will provide proper tools and guidance that will help with quality-of-life enhancement
