• To what extent should the schools be responsible for teaching sex education?

Education in school is very important (Coon, 2022, p366). The school has educated teachers who provide the correct information based on the age of the student. It also provides sex education programs, talking to them without creating confusion. Since children spend a lot of time in schools. Therefore educating them is a mutual responsibility. This is a topic that not all parents know how to talk to their children since for many culture has a lot to do with it. In my case, my parents never educated me about sexuality, everything I learned in school through Health Class.

• To what extent should sex education be left to parents?

Education begins at home. As parents we are responsible for the education of our children. Educating them about sexuality is very important from a young age so that they already know how to take care of themselves and protect themselves. From a young age they are taught that no one should touch their private parts and that they always talk to their parents about any concerns they have. The fact that parents talk about the subject is very beneficial for the child since we can realize his physical and emotional development.

• Who should handle education about STDs?

Teens whose parents talk to them about sex and how to prevent STDs are no more likely to have sex. They're more likely to make healthy choices about sex when they're older. Consult with educators on how to talk to our children about the subject of STDs and how to teach them without feeling ashamed and feel confident that the information given to them is correct so that they can lead a healthier life. Among those professionals are school teachers, counselors and doctors. Now there are so many STDs that informing them is very important since there are many teens who get pregnant at an early age and get STDs.
