Unit 2 DB Suggestions for Responding to Peer Posts Review a peer's response that chose a product that was geared toward a different target market

Unit 2 DB Suggestions for Responding to Peer Posts Review a peer's response that chose a product that was geared toward a different target market than the one that you chose. Do you agree with his or her statements about whether the advertisement was effective in targeting the consumer? Why or why not? If the technique used in the advertisement he or she selected was used for the product that you selected, do you think it would have been effective? Why or why not? #1 - Mars/ M&M's Link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-kTSTO9b2Ds The product I decided on was Mars/M&M's; the reason for this is because I just saw a commercial on the television in which I did not understand. Lately Mars/M&M's commercials have caught me off-guard and I am like why would they use that type of approach to advertise. This is one of M&M's latest commercial which shows indicates how powerful M&M's truly are in a manner that is part comedy and part soap opera. I think viewers will mess around with every one of the turns and turns, and perceive how it's significantly more amusing to share M&M's Chocolate Candies versus keeping all of them to your-self. This notice specifically is focusing on grown-ups, however those grown-ups not so much with youngsters. Despite the fact that youngsters are without a doubt still an extensive part of M&M's objective market, M&M's is attempting to focus on a more established gathering of people. Adults, particularly moms, have dependably been M&M's focused on business. Presently, be that as it may, M&M's is focusing on the youthful grown-up secondary school and school age. Within this advertisement the lady actor is caught red handed in bed with the red M&M when her husband's walks in. Basically she was trying to keep the red M&M to herself but later on her plan was to share with her husband. The yellow M&M was also in the he was supposed to be on the lookout for the red M&M and the lady actor while they spent quality time together. I am not sure if people have noticed but really the main target is women in all the commercials who do you see most? Women, right; the reason that is in my opinion is because all women love chocolate and they crave it more than men. So if I wanted candy that didn't melt in my hands but in my mouth it would be M&M's. In my opinion I think the entire ad's Mars/M&M's produce are compelling on the grounds that they have been around for quite a while. They attempt to make the promotions hilarious and outwardly engaging. M&M's is awesome at having promotions that utilization a viable amazement. This notice specifically demonstrates the silliness and as I would like to think would be shock appeal. I honestly didn't think the commercial was about M&M's until the spouse opened the entryway. The red M&M was stunned in light of the fact that he thought he was just being licked on by the woman on-screen and not the spouse; at last the red M&M is tricked all I can think about was what will happen next. Would I recommend this technique for other products in the same category? I would definitely recommend this technique for other products just because it is humorous and it leaves you to wonder. If Hershey's was to make their ads similar I am sure they would be at the top. Hershey products do similar advertisements but they don't have a specific target because they are trying to target everyone. I have noticed the change in Hershey products; their recent advertisements' such as turning Hershey bar's into bite size candies like M&M's. Promoting will keep on coming to their groups of onlookers of ladies and kids who are the most astounding buyers of M&M's and that at present think about M&M's as flavorful treat with fun, amusing, and exciting messages. All promoting ought to get their intended interest group to keep on valuing the past ads that M&M's has done and in addition persuade them that they need to purchase M&M's for their snacks, treats, and for gatherings in light of the fact that they are enjoyable. These promotions include putting the M&M's into this present reality. The copy for these advertisements should be related to a person's real life and real life situations. The copy prompts silliness and situations that individuals are acquainted with. #2 - The Ad V8 Its the ad with the v8, switch, and Oi Ocha drink in it. You have to click the plus sign to change the picture URL: http://www.sallyreps.com/index.php#mi=2&pt=1&pi=10000&s=3&p=4&a=1&at=1 I think with this the person type would be culture, lifestyle, and social class because the beverage that they are talking about I wouldn't say energy drinks but they are healthy drinks for you. On the site I located this on there are plenty of other types of healthy or energy foods/beverages on they have on it. I picked this one because it showing in the picture V8 with is made with tomatoes and then the Switch has oranges. I think the consumer need for this advertiser is trying to let us know what kind of healthy thing there are to eat and drink. There are plenty types of beverages and foods out in the world that have been produced for us to stay healthy to eat or drink to keep from gaining so much weight. Even though exercises are a good way to help the health but you should be able to eat and drink healthy as well. I would say they targeted this ad with a lot of good ideas, like for instance, and the slogan says \"Go with the Flavor Flow\". Now that should something that will pop out into someone head to think about what they need to do. The way I see it most ads that are being made have a message for us to go by and it is always good to flow with what it says. The technique I would say is being used in this ad would have to be energetic maybe. The reason I said that is because going by what the ad is show and saying these are the type of drinks they have a lot to offer a person. Now if you ask me I would probably go with a V8 drink to drink on when I'm trying to keep up with my health. Yes, I would recommend this technique for other products in this same category. There are different other type of beverages that a person can drink on for some type of energy drink or a healthy drink. Drinks like Gatorade, PowerAde, and etc. would be consider as an energy drink, and you can't go wrong with water either. Well from this ad there can be a lot that a person can go by with it because of how it is producing its product to the world. Each ad can be the same or different but it would is always good for you got get what it is saying in them, that is the most important thing. My advice would to be is to always watch what you eat and drink because everything is not good for your body to take. #3 - McDonald Macdonald intend to target people from social class, all cultures, life styles, beliefs and value, the company aims to please. Macdonald's is designed to fulfill needy outcomes and measures to form a long-term relationship with its customers that will meet the demands and perception that reflects on the different strategies that are used to capture customers with their service and products that are offered. Macdonald's uses such ads as Taste The Passion, I'm Loving It, and the saver menu that reveals items everyday such the dollar menu. The techniques used are within the different strategy approaches to make customers happy, yes I'd use the same approaches that this company uses because Macdonald's make the money and business is great all around the world.
