A ballerina's career is solely based on performances. In order to get paid they must perform shows that have people in attendance. These shows must be marketed on social media, word of mouth, flyers, ads, and more. Ballerina's are dependent on marketers to market their performances to ensure that people come to the ballerinas get paid. If these performances are not properly marketed, people won't show up, and ballerina's won't get paid. Take each part of our general definition for marketing, and, using a particular product/industry/ firm, match each part of the definition to the specific context of that product/firm/industry.
