What different sorts of labour might be available in a national labour market? How can the labour market help or hinder a firms survival and /or growth? Economic environment What impact will strong or weak economy have on the management of people? Social Factors What are the most important social factors which will affect the workplace? Culture has a large bearing on social arrangements, so must be included Emerging issues around the management of people related to changing technologies of work ( online working/ dispersed teams/)
