Creative Homework/Short Project Imagine you have started working as a marketing consultant for a small company which makes handcrafted goods. Their current marketing efforts are basic ideas generated by the owner.

The owner has noticed there are some segments in the market which respond well to the company’s products and wants you to advice on how to identify and effectively target the audience. Develop your advice in a short project where you present your ideas and give initial guidelines on how the owner should pursue the target market. The project must include the following:

a. A description of the phases of targeting, highlighting the important reasons for doing so

b. A list of the potential advantages the owner of the company may have when applying the target marketing strategy

c. Elaboration on a possible targeting strategy which you recommend to the owner and the reasons behind it.
