6.1 Select a problem of at least statewide importance that you feel strongly about, such as the rising cost of education, air pollution, hate groups on the Internet, child abuse, or rising gas prices. Construct a question of policy for the problem you have selected and brainstorm fi ve possible experts who have specialized training and/or experience with this problem. Choose one of the fi ve individuals and schedule a twenty-minute interview with him or her. Interview this expert, using Questions 3–9 from the information sheet outlined in this chapter.
