What stereotypes related to your race have you noticed where you have worked?

Brenda Allen is a communication scholar who focuses on race and the workplace. Her research (Allen, 2006) has led her to identify a number of racial stereotypes that can lead to misunderstandings in the workplace:
All black men love sports.
All members of a racial minority look alike.
Anyone with a Spanish last name is fluent in Spanish.
People of color are experts on race issues.
Expressive communication is not rational.
