Role-play a crisis press conference. Choose 6–8 class members to be the crisis team and assign a specific organizational role—CEO, public relations director, chief engineer—to each. The rest of the class will be the reporters. Separate the groups to prepare for the news conference. Begin with a statement from the crisis management team, followed by questions from the reporters. Make sure that the entire CMT participates. Film the proceedings and debrief, evaluating the performance of both sides.
