Question:
Calculate the mass flow rate of the steam that enters an adiabatic duct with a velocity of 10 m/s, at a pressure of 1.5 bar and a temperature of 400°C. The duct has a diameter of 0.16 m at the inlet and the steam outlet temperature is 650 K. Plot the exit velocity as well as the exit diameter versus the outlet pressure from 0.1 to 1 bar. Use Appendix A.3 for data.
