When feed concentration of naphthalene in the naphthalene-phenol separation is closer to the eutectic concentration than in Example 18-5 and recovery is high, the run can become interesting because the surface concentration can approach, equal, or pass (in the program, but not in reality) the eutectic concentration. Simulate a feed that is \(50 \%\) naphthalene with a \(48 \%\) recovery of naphthalene. Other conditions are the same as in Example 18-5.

For this example, we start with tc= 0.018 m thick and want to find the time to go to tc = 0.022 m thick. Operate with TC = 60C, and (Tmelt - Tc) = 10C.
