CCNA 1123 Spring 2022 Final Lab 1. Review the PT diagram. Objective 1: Connect and configure all devices in OSPF Area 0 and OSPF Area 1 and a) ping R3 interface IP address 10.30.30.2 from all PCs b) ping ISP LoopbackO IP address 8.0.0.1 from all PCs. Configure network in small sections and verify connectivity with Ping. If you can't reach with Ping remote site, stop, and troubleshoot. Steps: 1. Configure R3 and R1 interfaces in Area 0 and verify with ping. Ex, ping R1 to R3 interface. Configure DHCP server on R3 for three pools. Exclude first ten addresses from each DHCP pool. 1a. Configure OSPF Area 0 network on R1 and R3 interfaces. Do you see the neighbor (show ip ospf neighbor detail), and network (show ip ospf route)? If not, troubleshoot. 2. Configure R1 to R2 interface. Can you ping the remote site? 3. Configure OSPF Area 1 on R1 and R2 interfaces and advertise the network(s). Verify with command show ip ospf route. Do you see routes from Area 0? Troubleshoot with commands show ip ospf neighbor, ping, show ip ospf route, show run. 4. Configure R4 router interface to R1 and SW1 interface to R1. Ping. 5. Configure OSPF on R4 and SW1. Verify with show ip ospf neighbor, show ip route. On SW1 you may have to enable Ip routing. 6. Configure connectivity on R4 toward L2 switch Switch 0. (Router on a stick). 7. Configure Trunk and VLANs on Switch 0. 8. Configure PC10 and PC20 for DHCP. After few minutes check if both PCs received IP address (ipconfig). You should be able to ping R3 address 10.30.30.2. 9. Configure SW1 on the LAN site. Configure VLAN 30. Configure SVI. 10. Check if PC30 received DHCP address. If yes, you should be able to ping R3 router address 10.30.30.2. Objective 2. 1. Connect and configure ISP router R10 to router R1. Configure the Loopback interface on R10. 2. Configure default static route from R1 to R10. Can you ping the loopback from R1? If not troubleshoot. Do not advertise OSPF to ISP. 3. Ping the loopback from PC10, PC20 and PC30. Objective 3. 1. Create extended ACL to deny Icmp traffic (Ping) from PC30 to PC10. Verify with Ping. 2. Verify everything else is still reachable. Objective 4. 1. Create PAT network translation on R1. 2. When PC30, ip subnet 10.10.30, will ping ISP Loopback it will translate the private IP to public IP. 3. Ping from PC30 Loopback ip address 8.0.01. and review show ip nat translation table. Save the configs on all devices (copy running-config startup- config). Save the Packet Tracer file. Upload the PT file on Blackboard. Hint,,,,,,, build the lab in small stages and verify each step with show commands, ping, trace route. If something doesn't work, do not continue, troubleshoot! Delete wrong configurations and mistyped configuration statements. Check and verify! Save the config often! Packet Tracer is slow and whole OSPF network conversion is slow. To receive a DHCP address may take few minutes. Name the routers and switches (ex. hostname R3). You don't have to configure any passwords, but no ip domain-lookup command may help.
