For myself my pitch is a change that impacts the United States Air Force (USAF). During my presentation I addressed the Secretary of Defense and the Secretary of the Air Force. I would need both these individuals support as the program to be adjusted is a Depart of Defense(DoD) program. With the current information there is a need for research through this project, currently the data is not collected for the Air Force individually instead collected as a whole DoD group. I am currently a Staff Sergeant in the Air Force and talking to leadership is a scary thing. To propose an idea that has a impact on the DoD is something that is scary and these individuals of at the Secretary position are in high authority. The challenge is not to speak to them, but to get them to listen. I feel like without a good pitch there is no reason for them to want to take the project on. Another thought is the idea is good, but why listen to me. I do not have time or experience in the change. However, I do have an idea with enough research to make the idea a good plan moving forward.

I think making alliances with all the people I pitch to before getting to this level is important. Having this support will be crucial when moving up in the stakeholder ladder. Keeping the information simple is easy. We have a problem of retaining members - the solution is save money, increase education benefits while in which get use from degrees and allow people to stay in longer.
