How can you improve on cultural competence and how would you be able to exercise institutional intervention skills on behalf of clients? How can you help clients/colleagues determine whether a problem stems from racism or bias in others so that clients/colleagues do not inappropriately personalize problems? How can you be able to take responsibility for interacting in the language requested by my client and, if not feasible, make appropriate referrals. How can you work on your training and expertise in the use of traditional assessment and testing instruments? How can you work on attending to and working to eliminate biases, prejudices, and discriminatory contexts in conducting evaluations and providing interventions, and developing sensitivity to issues of oppression, sexism, heterosexism, elitism, and racism? How can you take take responsibility for educating my clients on the processes of my agency, such as goals, expectations, legal rights, and the agency's mission?
