I want to ask if sample x number are 95, sample y number are 35, the standard deviation of x sample is 40, sample standard deviation is 33, can I use the z test of two types of the sample? since there are enough sample size. could you explain clearly whether can use the z test here when do not know population standard deviation but have the large sample size.
