Logical ER Model - In this sprint, you will be completing one of the bottom layers of the project - one incremental value towards the final project.
In this deliverable, you will submit to me a PDF with the following information:
o Logical Entity Relationship model (in this model, you should identify a minimum of 8 strong entities and their names, all relationships (0:1, or 1:M /0:M, M:N - no need to yet break down the M:N and show the associative entity). Please show all attributes you plan on having in each entity, a minimum of 4 attributes in each entity, and at minimum 1 identifier for each entity.
o You should have one entity that will break down to two categories. For instance, if you had an entity called STUDENTS- this may break down to INTERNATIONAL and DOMESTIC. You need to have this identified as you will be modifying your logical ERD in Sprint 2 deliverable.
o Explanations of every single relationship with an example of data.
o For instance, if you have an entity called students, and an entity called courses, and a student takes many courses and a course can be taken by many students, thus, you should have an associative entity that you might want to call enrollment, this is the explanation that I am looking for as part of this submission.
o Example of data: if for instance you had an entity called courses, and the attributes were course_id, course_ name, course_credits, {course_program}(knowing this might be a multivalued field, must be broken up and resolved in Sprint 2 deliverable), the example of data I would like to see is the following: OPIM5272, Data Management and Business Process Modeling, 3,{MSBAPM/MBA/FINTECH}
o 3 possible reports that you will derive from your database. Pertaining to our previous example with courses and students, one possible report would be the total sum of students per course; or, total number of students who are taking two specific courses. Outline 3 possible reports.
o You can design the ERD in draw.io or lucid charts, or Visio. Please make all connections (connectivity and cardinalities) as large as you can, please have fonts of 12, if possible, and clear screen shots of your diagrams. The submission should be in PDF.
