Much of society doesn't accept the LGBT community because it doesn't follow social norms. It's hard for them to be accepted in our society even though they are people. The reason why they won't accept them because they don't see a Homosexual couple everyday. It people seen one everyday then they would consider it normal. In our current state, gay marriage is allowed in all of the United States. We are making a change of how people view homosexuals but only time will tell how much they will get accepted in society. It's still hard for them to be who they really are without saying something negative about them
