Leadership Self-Assessment

Complete the Leadership Self-Assessment Quiz 4-2 (located in Chapter 4, found in the "Leadership Styles" section of the DuBrin text), then answer the following questions.

• Describe your results from taking the self-assessment. Did any of the results surprise you? Why or why not?
• Compare and contrast the conclusions of the participative versus autocratic approaches to leadership. How do these compare to your assessment results?
• Review the Leadership Grid (figure 4-1, page 88) of the textbook - analyze your current supervisor (or a previous supervisor) and identify where he/she would fall on this grid. Please refrain from using names or other identifying features when describing your selected supervisor, keeping your post descriptive but anonymous.
