Scenario

As the marketing communication coordinator for Grit, you are part of a team responsible for growing the drink's branding and market share. In addition to traditional marketing mediums, you will also be partnering with various influencers to create and share branded content.

 

To map a network of influencers, you need to identify 3 key employees from your company and 5 external influencers to help persuade and motivate others to buy Grit. The internal influencers are key figures within your organization that will be able to help influence and overcome any internal resistance. The external influencers (such as Instagram or YouTube influencers) are key figures within Grit's target market. Ensure that your list of influencers consists of diverse people with different ages, races, genders, abilities, religions, etc. 

 

Instructions

Compose a report for Grit's brand manager that identifies 3 key employees from your company. You will need to include their positions and your rationale for including them. Your report should also provide the brand manager with the names of 5 recommended external influencers and your rationale for selecting them. Your list of influencers must show diversity with age, race, gender, ability, religion, etc. 

 

Your report should be 2-3 pages in length, written with professional language, and use proper spelling/grammar.
