The engineer Rafael Ramos has directed the Pastas Caribe company since it was founded in the year 2000. This company is dedicated to the manufacture of different types of pasta, cookies and flours. It started with a capital of 5 million dollars and currently amounts to 80 million dollars. In its beginnings, the factory had 130 employees in the production area and 24 employees from other areas.

The company starts with the following administrative positions:

General Manager: Engineer Rafael Ramos

Accountant: Mr. Luis Vzquez

Plant manager: Engineer Ramiro Gonzlez

Sales Manager: Mr. Jos Mercado

Engineer Ramos liked to make decisions for the entire company and directly oversee the smooth running of operations. In its first fifteen years, the company was recognized for offering good quality products at low prices, which allowed it to have a competitive advantage and thus have a good position in the market, obtaining large income and continuous growth. Mr. Jos Mercado, sales manager, tells you that there has been a decrease in sales due to the poor quality of the products, the increase in costs, the delay in the delivery of the products and the high prices compared to the competition.

The Human Resources manager, Ms. Migdalia Ortiz, understands that staff turnover is due to the low salaries offered by the company versus the competition, the lack of incentives, excessive work hours and the exaggerated controls imposed by Eng. bouquets.

Mr. Luis Vzquez complains because he understands that the greatest amount of work falls on him, compared to the other company administrators who do not have the same level of responsibility.
