Kerry Kelley Bits and Spurs- The Argentine style bit with a slow twist dog bone mouthpiece. By: Sala BuesigHistory- Who is the company? . Kerry Kelley lives and works in Weatherford, TX with his wife Wendy and their three children Kayden, Kanyon and Karter. Kelley is self-taught and has been in the business for over 20 years. It all began with an interest in cowboy history and the tools these hard-working folks need to do their job and do it well. . After the equipment was functional and durable, then the artistic side of Kelley kicked into play. . He takes great pride in the beauty of each piece he generates and enjoys coming up with new artistic designs. The new product Argentine style bit with a slow twist wire dog bone mouthpiece. This bit will be aimed towards horses that are younger and needing a little bit more than a snaffle or a seasoned horse that has a light mouth. The twist part of the bit is meant to apply strong pressure in the horse's mouth, placing the mouthpiece among the most severe varieties. However, a slow twist, or one with fewer turns, is less severe than a fast twist with more turns. We look for something less severe for younger horses due to the fact they are started in a bit very soft and light to the mouth. If you put a to severe of a bit on a younger it could cause them to be afraid of the pressure rather than accepting it. The Dog Bone part of the bit is a small bit piece that makes a big difference. As a multi-jointed mouthpiece, the dog bone horse bit allows the bit to lie flat on the horse's tongue. This is achieved by the small dog bone shaped piece in the middle of the mouthpiece, making it a 3-piece mouthpiece. Visual of product The first image is the cheek piece/shank- The Argentine style. The second image is the mouthpiece- Slow a twist with a dogbone.Target Market o This product is for any horse owner in the western world, this product is so versatile and that's why I think this product will be successful. 0 Mainly be aimed towards younger horses that are needing something a little more than a snaffle. However, this bit will be great for a horse that doesn't require a more severe bit. a I am targeting these people because the dynamics of this bit are very popular and I'm putting a few different variables into a single product. This bit can be aimed for trainers in the roping, reining and finishing horses or just people that have personal horses that need a good bit. This bit can also be aimed for ranchers and trail riders, it isjust enough bit to get a horse's attention and light enough to be an everyday riding bit
