(for publicly listed companies, you should look under investor information on their corporate websites).

Review each of the mission statements and answer these questions:

• What do the mission statements have in common?

• Do they specify products that the firm should deliver?

• Do they specify any target markets?

• Do they suggest an overall strategic approach?

• Do they talk about corporate values?

• Do they refer to their staff?

• In what ways are these mission statements different from each other?

Once you have completed the review, identify how these mission statements, as they are currently framed, will influence or drive the firm’s marketing strategy and overall decision making.
