24 AppTrap makes gaming apps for smartphones and tablets. It is currently evaluating two alternative investments. The first proposed game, Lolly Scramble, would be based around a current top-selling game, while the second, Pied Pie, is an entirely new gaming idea. The investment costs are expected to be similar, but AppTrap only has enough funding to develop one new game. Lolly Scramble is likely to have a much narrower range of market demand and annual profit than Pied Pie, as shown below.
