Conduct research on the dierent aspects of the culture and the mental disorder that you have chosen.

For example, what are the core cultural values? How does this country rank in Hoefstede’s dimensions

(if applicable)? What are the main symptoms of the disorder? What are the most eective known treatments for that disorder?

Discuss your ndings in the group and choose one treatment that you would use for the disorder. Next, use the Ecological Validity Framework to outline how exactly you would tweak the “standard” approach to treatment to better suit this particular cultural context.
