If you have access to a color ink jet printer, print a color test pattern with the printer. View the test pattern through a strong magnifying glass.
a. Can you see the individual colored dots that form the colors on the page? Which of the colors in the test pattern appear to be made up of just single colored dots?
b. With the help of the magnifying glass, describe how the other colors in the test pattern are produced.
c. Use the magnifying glass to observe the lines on the screen of a color television set (with the set turned off!). What colors do you observe? How do these colors differ from those used in color printing?
