This feed (Stream 1),100kmolh is separated into two fractions - a distillate (Stream 2) and a bottom (Stream 3). The distillate is to contain all the propane fed to the unit and 70% of the iso-pentane fed to the unit and is to consist of 30% isobutene. The bottom stream is to contain all the normal pentane fed to the unit.
