You are member of a group of researchers who conducted a case-control study to evaluate the association between smoking and having cancer. Cases were patients who had cancer and controls are individuals without cancer. They collected data on the following variables from both Cases and controls. Cancer: This indicates Cases (Cancer=Yes) and Controls (cancer=No) Age Gender Smoking status Alcohol consumption Obesity Income level High Cholesterol Level Education For this study, you need to conduct the following: A) Conduct the analyses: 1. Conduct proper descriptive statistics to describe variables used in this study, 2. Conduct proper bivariate analysis to explore association between each independent variables with the outcome variable, and 3. Conduct a multivariate analysis to evaluate the association between smoking and cancer while taking into account other variables as confounding variable in your model. B) Prepare a poster for presentation in a scientific conference: 1. Based on the finding from your analysis prepare a poster presentation to be presented in a scientific conference. 2.
