2. Describing Main Ideas in 2–3 Sentences Once again, find a recent copy of Psychological Science. Select an article of interest to practice describing it and its importance in no more than two or three sentences. See if you can, in clear, simple terms, convey the research article’s big picture, including its main ideas and their importance. We recommend that you do this with a partner. Each of you should read a different article and then transmit this key information to each other. Then, read each other’s article and try to transmit that information to your partner. Compare the information that you each conveyed to develop your skills in pulling out the key concepts.
